17 June 2015. Findings from the Television Framing of the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum project were presented and discussed in a specially organised seminar for members of the media industry.

The seminar was attended by senior broadcasters from BBC Scotland and STV; representatives of Ofcom and the BBC Trust; VLV (Voice of the Listener and Viewer) current and former trustees for Scotland; senior figures from Yes Scotland and the Scottish Newspaper‌ Society; and academics specialising in media and politics. It took place at the Lighthouse, in Glasgow.

A presentation of findings from the research was followed by a roundtable discussion on issues arising from the findings and on the role of broadcasting in explaining what a referendum is about. A report of key findings and points from the discussion can be found here.
